Morris Farm Eventing is a small boarding and training facility started by
Merle Morris and his daughter Whitney.
We are a 13 acre farm located in Lexington, KY. We are lucky enough to
be only 15 minutes from the beautiful Kentucky Horse Park as well as
Keeneland Race Course and Masterson Station Park.
We have eight paddocks, a newly renovated barn with seven stalls, a
brand new outdoor arena and a large field with various cross country
jumps.
We travel to various race tracks and pick out any young horses who might
make excellent young event prospects. We always have a nice selection
of horses for sale that are safe, sound, sane and affordable for you. Being
such a small farm really allows us to spend quality time with each horse
we get. This allows us to get to know the horse inside and out before
putting them up for sale. This way we are able to help you decide which
horse best suits your level of experience and needs.
Whitney started riding horses when she was only four and is currently
training with Cathy Wieschhoff and competing her horse at the Preliminary
level. She has trained with many other upper level riders including
Dorothy Crowell, Megan Moore, Alyson Claywell and Linda Strine. She has
also ridden in many clinics and camps with various upper level riders
including Ralph Hill, Karen and David O'Connor, Stephen Bradley, Cathy
Wieschhoff and John Williams. She also spent two months in Florida
training with Dorothy Crowell during the winter of 2005.
These are various pictures of Whitney and her dad at several shows and
training events.
